ELLE FIERCE

ELLE FIERCE UK

Experience the liberation and chaos of nightlife – up front.

You are invited to a close encounter at this year's festival at Platform with Elle Fierce’s Spiralling, where pleasure, risk, visibility, and survival blend throughout the performance.

The performance unfolds over time through movement, music, physical endurance, and proximity to the crowd. You are invited to stand or sit and share the space with the performer, rather than observe from a distance.

Elle Fierce blurs the line between performer and audience, turning spectators into witnesses or participants. In her dance performance, she moves through cycles of intensity and exhaustion, building moments of collapse and recovery.

The work points to the history of rave and techno culture as spaces created by Black and queer communities, exploring joy, freedom, and connection in environments that can also feel unsafe or exclusionary.

Spiralling will be performed twice at Platform: First as a 45-minute performance, then repeated and followed by a one-hour b3b DJ set by Elle Fierce, Reenie and Suzie the Cockroach.

Elle Fierce is a performance and visual artist and DJ whose work blends dance, sound, and endurance-based performance. She is a former professional ballet dancer and creates performances exploring the body as a site of power, control, and resistance. Centring Black trans-feminine experiences, her work has been presented across Europe. She lives and works in London, UK.

Spiralling premiered in Copenhagen in 2025, later expanding into a performance series in Vilnius, Lithuania, and will be reimagined for Roskilde Festival 2026.
