Despite the fact that her regular debut album Bianca was not released until 2025, rapper Bia can safely be called a seasoned name in American hip-hop. An artist who, for over 10 years, has impressed with both solid hits, strong features and a personal style that combines hard trap, melodic R&B hooks and elements of Latin.  

Back in 2014, Bia, whose real name is Bianca Miquela Landrau, caused a stir in the television series Sisterhood of Hip Hop, and was signed by Pharrell Williams' label I Am Other. Soon after, a series of strong singles followed, and Bia was invited to open for names such as Pusha T and Ariana Grande. In 2018, she featured on Kali Uchis' debut album Isolation, and in the same year she released her own debut EP Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado.  

Since then, she has triumphed with several iconic songs, such as the Russ collaboration "Best on Earth", which became a viral success in 2019, helped along by the fact that Rihanna herself proclaimed it her favourite song. Her big breakthrough came in 2021 with the EP For Certain and her collaboration with Nicki Minaj on the smash hit "Whole Lotta Money", which also landed on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 50 best tracks of the year.  

With Bianca, she brings everything together in her most personal release to date, marking yet another milestone. Once again, Bia impresses as a rapper with superior bars, and the album format allows her to explore more facets of her great talent – both when she celebrates her Latin roots in collaboration with stars such as Becky G and Roskilde Festival's Young Miko, and when she engages in dialogue with Southern rap in collaboration with Denzel Curry.
