A sun-drenched, otherworldly trip awaits as Kevin Parker brings Tame Impala back to Roskilde Festival. For more than 15 years, the project has captivated listeners with its soaring sonic ambitions, moving effortlessly between psychedelic textures, alternative rock, euphoric pop and elements of rave culture.

The 2010 debut album Innerspeaker immediately caught the attention of critics and a rapidly growing fanbase, earning widespread acclaim. Several albums have followed since, each adding iconic songs to Tame Impala’s enduring catalogue. Think “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”, “Elephant”, “Let It Happen”, “The Less I Know the Better”, “Lost in Yesterday” and, not least, 2025’s “Dracula”, which became a major hit both in its original form and in a remix featuring a guest verse from K-pop star Jennie, who performed on the Orange Stage in 2026.

On the latest album, Deadbeat, Kevin Parker once again balances outward euphoria with introspection, while showcasing his distinctive ability to fuse psychedelic rock influences and pure pop hooks with a pounding electronic pulse. That talent was further recognised with a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for the track “End of Summer”.

Although Parker is the undisputed mastermind behind Tame Impala, the project takes the form of a full band on stage, delivering ambitious live shows that bring the full psychedelic palette to life. Tame Impala has performed at Roskilde Festival several times over the years, most recently in 2016, when the band played to a packed Arena. Danish music magazine Soundvenue awarded the concert the maximum six stars, writing: “Tame Impala combined the bombastically pompous with the rigorous, with surgical precision and rave-like energy that constantly drew dopamine from the depths of the hypnotic breaks.”
