Make your voice count for democracy when the election party kicks off at Roskilde Festival

Democracy is not just something that happens during elections for parliament, local councils, or the EU. It’s something we shape and practice every single day – even in the middle of a festival. At this year’s Roskilde Festival, the youth organization SAGA invites you to take part in Roskilde FestiVOTE and show what you say YES to.

With Roskilde FestiVOTE, SAGA gives you the chance to have your voice heard and explore how the democracy of the future might look – and how it’s something we create and develop together.

Take part by casting your vote in the ballot box What do you vote YES to? at FLOKKR, and write which topic, statement, or issue you want to support.

The topics and concerns shared in the ballot box will feed into the evening’s program FestiDEBATE: Who stole our vote?, where some of the participants’ contributions will be brought into the discussion.

Afterwards, SAGA invites you to the ELECTIONparty – a celebration of democracy with music and dancing. Here, you can vote with your body in a DJ battle, where the tracks are linked to cur-rent social issues, elections, and values.

SAGA is a party-neutral platform that works to engage and strengthen the influence of young people in society. Through education, talent programs, and school dialogues, young people are equipped to become the decision-makers of the future and ensure that their voice is heard. In 2025, SAGA celebrates its 4th anniversary and 2,500 members.

Roskilde Festival has teamed up with the organization's FLOR, Youth Network of the Climate Festival, Operation Dagsværk, SAGA, and the Danish Red Cross Youth in an action community we call Flokkr Lab.

You can experience all the Flokkr Lab partners' program content during the Roskilde Festival.
