- Sunday 29 JuneWorkshop: The Diary School, 14:45, Flokkr
How can a diary help you pursue your dreams? And how can it strengthen both your creativity and your mental well-being?
In this workshop, The Diary School will show you how simple tools and exercises can turn diary writing into a way to understand yourself better – and find direction in what truly matters to you.
Along the way, you’ll try out short writing exercises and get ideas on how art and literature can inspire your diary practice. You’ll also hear former students from The Diary School read from their own diaries and experience how many different forms a diary can take.
You’re welcome to share what you write – but only if you want to. Shared texts may be included anonymously as part of the workshop documentation.
Please note: This event will be in Danish.
The Diary School explores the potential of diary writing by creating communities, events, and teaching intuitive, pressure-free writing. The school was founded by artists Julie Thalund, Nadja Kaspersen, and Julie Stokkendal, who work across visual art, performance, and literature – all using the diary as a tool in both artistic practice and everyday life. In 2024, The Diary School released the podcast Dagbogsradio in collaboration with Podimo.
