Imagine a network of roots spreading, growing, and connecting us all—a visible reminder that our actions and hopes for the climate are strongest when we stand together.
The Youth Network of the Climate Festival invites you to co-create a network at this year’s Roskilde Festival and become part of Roots of Change—a growing collective climate project. Together, we will build an installation that reminds us of our deep connection and the power of standing united to make a difference.
We´ll meet you where you are – out on the Camp Site, in the middle of the festival. Here, volunteers from the Youth Network of the Climate Festival will take a sustainable photo, which becomes part of the living artwork Roots of Change. On the back of the photo, you can write your climate message: What are your hopes for the future climate? What will you do for the climate? How can we drive climate action together?"
During the festival’s First Days, the photos will be assembled into Roots of Change—an installation that grows day by day, showing how much we can achieve when we come together to create a space where sharing our concerns, hopes, and actions for a sustainable future feels safe rather than vulnerable.
The Youth Network of the Climate Festival stems from the Climate Festival, where we create a culture and knowledge program aimed at young people. We want to drive change, so if you’re passionate about climate action, community, gaining new knowledge, and building friendships, join our network! Our dream is to act together so that one day, we can look back and say: We did something!
Roskilde Festival has teamed up with the organization's FLOR, Youth Network of the Climate Festival, Operation Dagsværk, SAGA, and the Danish Red Cross Youth in an action community we call Flokkr Lab.
You can experience all the Flokkr Lab partners' program content during the Roskilde Festival.
Flokkr Lab is supported by Erasmus+.
