The festival’s art is not only hidden away on the inner festival site – it is spread across the entire festival area.
Some works can be spotted from far away, while others ask you to come closer and stop for a moment.
Here is a route that takes you past some of this year’s art experiences in the camping area.

Start at Badesøen in the camping area, where you will find the work Bukkehornene.
Three enormous goat horns rise by the lake, tied together with red and white ribbons. Artist Noah Holtegaard uses them to explore sin, guilt and forgiveness.
Pause by the work for a moment and ask yourself: Who gets made into the scapegoat – and why?

From here, continue along the lake towards Settle’n Share, where you will come across Rundkredsen (The Circle) between East City and the top of P.
The work was created by the architecture studio Rumgehør and is a seating installation made up of different furniture sections. On their own, they are unstable. But the moment they are connected, they become stable and functional.
Together, they form a circle that frames a sense of community. Take a seat, rest your legs for a moment or strike up a conversation with someone you did not know five minutes ago.
If you do not make it past Rundkredsen during the festival, you will also have the chance afterwards. The work will remain in place until next year’s festival.

From Rundkredsen, head towards The Yard, where you will find Rehearsals of Belonging 2.0 – an artistic pavilion created by Polish artist Bartek Arobal Kociemba together with architect Mikkel Nielsen.
Step inside, take a break from the festival rush and experience how light, sound and architecture create a space for reflection. If you stop by after dark, the work really comes into its own through its atmospheric lighting.

From here, you do not have to walk far. Between The Yard and GROW, you will find the stone table Table of Interests.
The table was created by the architecture group EN:33 as a meeting place within everyday routines. Meals can be shared here and tall tales can be told – but it can also become a place for conflict and negotiation.
Share a lunch or a long conversation. The table was made for both. Like Rundkredsen, Table of Interests is also a permanent installation that you can find in Milen all year round.

You have already seen it: the largest work on the entire festival site. But have you climbed it yet? Next to Dancefloor – and just a stone’s throw from Table of Interests – you will find The Long Way Around.
The spiral-shaped work was created by Jesse Darling in 2025 and is a permanent installation on the site.
Make your way all the way to the top and see the festival site from a new angle. And if you have already climbed The Long Way Around, you can do it again – this time thinking along the way about people with disabilities, who often have to take the long way around where others can take the direct route.

Walk around The Long Way Around and you will encounter the work Vores drømme om i morgen (A Dream of Tomorrow).
The stories come from young people in Taastrupgaard, who created the work together with Sahar Jamili. Come closer and see how personal dreams and experiences become shared art.

Finally, make sure to stop by Skate in West. With colourful ramps and graffiti art on the walls, the venue is a work of art in itself.
Skate is just as much a skate area as it is a meeting place. Drop by for the art on the ramps – and maybe you will feel like jumping on a board yourself.

Maybe the art walk will spark some ideas of your own. Roskilde Festival Gruppen is currently looking for emerging artists, architects and other creative professionals who want to help shape Milen towards Roskilde Festival 2027.
You can apply for up to DKK 50,000 for site-specific works that invite community, play and new encounters – both during the festival and throughout the rest of the year. The application deadline is 26 August 2026.
Two of the works on this art walk, Rundkredsen and Table of Interests, were selected through Milens Vækstlag in 2025 and have now become part of this year’s art programme.
If you would like to leave your own mark on the festival site, you can read more and submit your application via Roskilde Festival Gruppen’s website.
