Caroline Polachek returns to Roskilde Festival with the captivating, experimental pop universe that has made her one of the most distinctive pop artists of her generation. Across albums Pang and Desire, I Want To Turn Into You, she has combined bold experimentation and futuristic sounds with first-rate pop songwriting.

Eight-time Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves brings her blend of classic country and modern pop songwriting. On her latest album, Middle of Nowhere, she looks back towards her Texas roots and the musical traditions she grew up with.

And get ready for the legendary Patti Smith Quartet, bringing more than 50 years of rock history, poetry and revolutionary spirit to Roskilde Festival.

There is plenty to dive into if you are heading for the heavier end of the line-up.

Neurosis bring decades of uncompromising and hugely influential heavy music to Roskilde Festival, while Lambrini Girls arrive with biting British punk and a new album on the way.

US band Drain deliver fast, physical California hardcore built for movement in front of the stage, while Denmark’s Konvent slow things down and turn up the weight with their dark death-doom.

Underscores arrives at Roskilde Festival with one of the most distinctive sounds in a new generation of alternative pop, throwing 2000s pop, EDM, dubstep and emo into a wild and unpredictable mix.

G Jones B2B Eprom brings together two of the most uncompromising producers in experimental US electronic music for a high-energy joint DJ set.

British group Ezra Collective made history as the first jazz act ever to win the prestigious Mercury Prize. At Roskilde Festival, expect their life-affirming blend of jazz, soul, afrobeat and Cuban rhythms – music made to get a big crowd moving.

At a very different edge of jazz, New York group Nu Jazz mutate the genre with drum’n’bass, noise and electronic music.

Danish singer and performer Emma Sehested Høeg takes a major step up to Orange Stage next summer after a standout Arena show at Roskilde Festival in 2025 and several years of establishing herself as one of Denmark’s strongest live performers.

Danish rapper Kundo joins the line-up after a summer spent dominating the Danish charts with “Shen Mao” – while also ranking among the most requested Danish hip-hop acts amongst you.

From Norway comes Karpe, one of Scandinavia’s biggest and most distinctive rap groups. They are soon heading out on their farewell tour, and their Roskilde Festival show will be their final concert in Denmark ever.

Florida rapper 454 has built an unusually devoted following around pitch-shifted vocals, elastic beats and a hip-hop sound very much in a lane of its own. Frank Ocean was an early fan, and 454 has since worked with artists including Playboi Carti and Freddie Gibbs.

British artist Suki Waterhouse brings dreamy, cinematic indie pop from her third album, Loveland, while New York artist James K moves between dream pop, trip-hop, ambient and shoegaze on her acclaimed album Friend – and brings it all to Roskilde Festival with a full live band.

The first 18 acts are only the beginning. By next summer, the music line-up will grow to around 180 acts spanning genres, generations and musical worlds.
